Two offers and two visits for CFC100 Steven Schwartz

You know you’re a hot prospect when you’re breaking more news before the writer can publish the first story. That’s the type of grind it’s been for CFC100 Steven Schwartz out of St. James (MD), who received two OUA offers, and received visits from two more U Sports program over the past week. Schwartz was gracious enough to provide quotes about each interaction, and for all I know we’ll be talking before sunrise about the next program in line.

CFC100/CFC60 Recruiting Stories

While most scouts have been glued to the OFSAA Festival this week, they’ve always got their eyes shifting from coast to coast, and Steven Schwartz became a major target after wrapping up his season in Maryland. The Class of 2019 offensive line prospect hauled in two big offers from Waterloo and Calgary, plus he also took some time to meet with UBC and Guelph to learn more about the specifics surrounding their academic programs. Schwartz already has offers on the board from Delaware State, Guelph, Western, Ottawa, Laurier, and SMU, making him easily one of the most sought after CFC100 prospects.

It’s not surprising with blue chip offensive linemen a rarity on the trail, but it also helps that Schwartz is one of the most well spoken and approachable players you’ll come across in Canada. There was a lot to answer after a long week, but he was willing to share a little bit about his experience with each program.
