CFC100 Jevaun Jacobsen grabs third DI offer

The good news keeps flowing from the NCAA, and this time it was CFC100 Jevaun Jacobsen out of Clearwater Academy (FL) who stole the spotlight receiving his third NCAA DI offer down in Florida. The Class of 2020 athlete is a legit two-way prospect who flipped between safety and running back this past season, plus he played quarterback during his time with CFC50 Terry Fox.

“They’re here in Tampa so I’ve been to their game and practice. One of the coaches came to my school today and told my coach I was offered a scholarship!”

CFC100/CFC60 Recruiting Stories

The Class of 2020 are off to the races, and Jevaun Jacobsen is trying to keep pace after hauling in another local NCAA from South Florida. They join Florida Atlantic and Liberty in line for his services, and with the camp circuit drawing near, you should expect to see his name pop up multiple times before he finally commits. We’ve seen the Bulls step into the Canadian recruiting ring a few times over the years without any success yet – but they did have offers on the board for CFC100s Kervens Bonhomme and Jared Wayne before they signed elsewhere. They also offered Jacobsen’s teammate Geri Theodore, who’s another Canadian to watch down south that we’ve added to our radar.

Jacobsen originally hails from B.C where he played for Terry Fox, but made the move to Florida last season where he’s been able to connect with local schools,

“They’re here in Tampa so I’ve been to their game and practice. One of the coaches came to my school today and told my coach I was offered a scholarship! My coach told me after and I was excited.”

South Florida are members of the American Athletic Conference, and finished 2018 with a 7-6 record capped by a loss to Marshall in the Gasparilla Bowl.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
