The 6’4″, 265lbs offensive lineman made headlines earlier in the year with a pair of offers from Ottawa and UBC that followed the initial from Alberta, but Neumann’s mind never wandered far. He’s now the third CFC100 committed to the Golden Bears for next year joining Eli Hetlinger and Albert Reese IV, setting the groundwork for what could be a very productive 2020 cycle in Northern Alberta.

Neumann will suit up for his final campaign at Salisbury this season, which is one of Alberta’s favourite local stomping grounds signing CFC100 Jake Taylor, CFC100 Tanner Shaw, Skyler Saar and Tommy Walters from the Class of 2019. CFC Lead Analyst, Clint Uttley, believes Neumann has all the tools to become one of the top prospects in Canada,

“Neumann needs to develop physically, but I really liked what I saw on film as far as a 10th grader offensive lineman playing in a very competitive high school conference in northern Alberta. I was impressed with his physicality and his level of competitiveness. I also liked his ability when it came to sealing defenders or even reaching defenders outside of him. A good offseason in the weight room will do wonders for this young man. If he adds the strength and size without losing too much quickness or athleticism, Neumann will no doubt be one of the top O-line prospect in northern Alberta.”

Neumann is currently ranked 6th on the Class of 2020 offensive tackle rankings, and 2nd best from Alberta.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
