Calgary receiver signs with AUS team.

Jackson Bokenfohr is leaving the Prairies to commence his CIS journey in Antigonish.

Recently, the 6’0, 165 pound receiver from Calgary, Alberta signed with the St.FX X-Men for the 2014 AUS season.

β€œI chose St.FX due to the reputation of the prestigious school from both current students and alumni,” explained Bokenfohr of his commitment.Β  β€œThe football team made a highly valued name for itself both on and off the field which is what confirmed my decision.”

The Alberta receiver joins the X-Men after finishing a stint with the Ernest Manning Griffins of the Calgary Senior High School Athletic Association (CSHSAA). In addition to the Griffins, Bokenfohr played for the Calgary Wildcats of the Calgary and Area Midget Football Association (CAMFA).Β  This past spring, the Wildcats won the Division 1 City Championship over the Airdrie Raiders.
