EventsRegina’s Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic high school and coach John Foord have had a great run. The Golden Suns were City of Regina and Provincial Champions in 2008, and then had a five year run as Provincial AAAA Champions from 2012 to 2016. They fell just short last season losing in the championship game by 2 points.
Their CFC50 National rankings have been very impressive; during their championship era, they were rated 7th, 4th, 5th, 3rd and 4th in the country. There are no guarantees in life, however LeBoldus will likely be back in the hunt this season. Coach Foord indicated that they have a good group of returning players, and they look forward to opening their season on September 6th vs. the Miller Marauders.
