Windsor’s Tyrone Crawford stars in Boise State Bowl victory


Tyrone Crawford #40 of Windsor, Ontario (Catholic Central) starred for the Boise State Broncos in their 26 to 3 Maaco Bowl victory over the Utah Utes in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Boise State (12-1) was ranked as high as No. 2 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll this year. After a sloppy beginning the Broncos made some big plays to run away from the Utes.

Crawford plays defensive end for the Bronco defense which shut down the Utes to only 3 points, 8 first downs, and less than 200 total yards.

Tyrone came into yesterdays game with season totals of 12 games playerd, 11 solo tackles, 18 assisted tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery.
