CFC reported 10 days ago that Mike Morencie had been let go by the University of Windsor and today the school made it official.
(Windsor, ON) ā The University of Windsor will begin a search for a new football coach over the next several weeks to find a replacement for Mike Morencie, who will conclude his employment contract with the university on June 30, 2011.
Morencie will continue in a teaching position in the faculty of Human Kinetics until his contract expires.
He is the third head coach in the Lancers’ 42-year-history and has led the team for the past 13 years.
