Waterloo Warriors introduce 2019 class

Waterloo welcomes 30 commits to their 2019 class.

The University of Waterloo Warriors are set to welcome a whole new crop of commits to their team.

Simon Peter Adams (5’8, 155lbs) – a defensive back from David Suzuki Secondary School (Brampton, ON)

Darrell Adams, the team’s recruiting coordinator, described him as a “cover guy with great feet and hips that will add depth to defensive backfield.”

FPC Alex Baseggio (6’4, 200lbs) – a linebacker from St. James Catholic High School (Guelph, ON)

Adams touts him as a “physical athlete that could play multiple spots on defense.”

Thomas Bloomfield (6’2, 270lbs) – a defensive tackle from Jacob Hespeler Secondary School (Cambridge, ON)

“Stout interior lineman from annual OFSAA competitive team that will compete to dress immediately,” Adams said.

Dallas Bone (6’1, 170lbs) – a wide receiver from AN Myer Secondary School (Niagara Falls, ON)

Adams said he is a “good route runner, with great hands from powerhouse program that will add depth to wide receiver core.”

Malik de Boult (6’5, 230lbs) – a defensive end from Sir Allan MacNab Secondary School (Hamilton, ON)

“Excellent motor and aggressiveness,” Adams said. “He will compete to dress in first year.”

FPC Cameron Bulai (6’1, 295lbs) – an offensive lineman from Resurrection Catholic Secondary School (Kitchener, ON)

Adams said that he is a “physical interior lineman that will add depth to the offensive line.”

Aidan Carter (6’0, 185lbs) – a wide receiver from Jacob Hespeler Secondary School (Cambridge, ON)

“(He is a) good route runner from powerhouse program that will add depth to wide receiver core,” Adams said.

Greg Caruso (5’10, 200lbs) – a running back from St. Mary’s College (Sault Ste Marie, ON)

Adams described him as a downhill, shifty runner from the Soo that will add depth to our backfield.”

Kyle Dawdy (6’1, 210lbs) – a defensive end and linebacker from Waterford Secondary School (Waterford, ON)

“Excellent motor and coachability,” Adams said. “He will add depth to defensive line or (as a) linebacker.”

Mitch Demers (6’5, 215lbs) – a linebacker from St Francis Catholic Secondary School (St. Catharines, ON)

Adams said he has “great range, instincts and football IQ. (He) will compete to dress at multiple spots.”

Caelen Fraser (6’0, 225lbs) – a linebacker form Bishop Macdonnell Catholic High School (Guelph, ON)

“(He is a) smart, downhill interior linebacker that will add depth to our linebacker core,” Adams said.

FPC Steven Guenette (5’10, 190lbs) – a defensive back from Holy Names Catholic High School (Windsor, ON)

“Smart, physical player from two-time OFSAA winning team that will add depth to defensive backfield,” described Adams.

FPC Trevon Halstead (6’2, 270lbs) – a defensive tackle from Cardinal Ambrozic Catholic Secondary School (Brampton, ON)

“A stout interior lineman that will compete to dress immediately,” Adams said.

Sam Hepditch (6’1, 170lbs) – a quarterback from St David Catholic Secondary School (Waterloo, ON)

Adams said he has a “strong arm” and is a “mobile quarterback with great football IQ that will compete to backup.”

Tyson Hergott (6’3, 245lbs) – a defensive end from St David Catholic Secondary School (Waterloo, ON)

“Physical player with great upside that will compete to dress in first year,” Adams said.

Tristan Jameson (5’10, 205lbs) – a defensive back from Ajax High School (Ajax, ON)

Adams described him as an “agile defender with great ball skills and athleticism that will provide depth to defensive backfield.”

FPC Ethan Kalra (6’3, 280lbs) – an offensive lineman from Saint Andrews College (Acton, ON)

“Strong physical player from excellent program that will add depth to offensive line,” Adams said.

FPC David Kanary (6’1, 285lbs) – an offensive lineman from Jean Vanier Catholic High School (Milton, ON)

Adams said he is a “strong, physical interior lineman that will provide depth.”

Noah Lebar (6’2, 225lbs) – a halfback from Grand River Collegiate Institute (Waterloo, ON)

“Athletic, multipurpose player that will compete to dress on offense and special teams,” described Adams.

Max Leduc (6′ 1, 175lbs) – a defensive back from Resurrection Catholic Secondary School (Kitchener, ON)

“Great range and physicality,” said Adams. “(He) will provide depth to defensive backfield.”

Judhis Lilly (6’2, 200lbs) – a halfback from Oakville Trafalgar High School (Oakville, ON)

Adams described him as being both athletic and multipurpose who “will compete to dress on offense and special teams.”

Isaiah Marcus (5’9, 155lbs) – a defensive back from Scarborough, ON

“(He is a) fearless defender that will add depth to defensive backfield,” Adams said.

Jaxon Matcheski (6’4, 210lbs) – a wide receiver from Resurrection Catholic Secondary School (Kitchener, ON)

“Strong, physical wide receiver with great hands,” said Adams. “(He) will compete to dress on offense.”

FPC Isaac Mcalonan (6’1, 185lbs) – a wide receiver from Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School (Grimsby, ON)

Adams said he is a “smooth route runner, will add depth to wide receiver core.”

CFC100 Jethro Oleko (6’0, 205lbs) – a linebacker from Football North (Windsor, ON)

“A sideline-to-sideline linebacker with great football IQ and pedigree, will compete to dress immediately,” said Adams.

FPC Jordan Schmidt (6’2, 230lbs) – a defensive end from Bluevale Collegiate Institute (Waterloo, ON)

Adams described him as a “pass rusher with great hips and feet, will compete to dress.”

Isaiah Shewell (5’11, 215lbs) – a linebacker from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School (Hamilton, ON)

Adams said he has “great football IQ and instincts” and that he “will provide depth to linebacker core.”

Harrison Shoniker (6’0, 185lbs) – a defensive back from Bishop Macdonnell Catholic High School (Guelph, ON)

“A team captain, smart, fast defender will provide depth to defensive backfield,” said Adams.

Liam Tomes (6’1, 315lbs) – an offensive lineman from Holy Names Catholic High School (Windsor, ON)

Adams said he is a strong and physical lineman from repeat OFSAA champion team who will provide depth on the offensive line.

Jordan Travis (5’11, 180lbs) – a defensive back from St Joan of Arc Catholic High School (Barrie, ON)

“(He is a) ballhawking player that will add depth to defensive backfield,” Adams said.
