Football Nova Scotia is pleased to announce Jason Warren as the new Technical Director of Football Nova Scotia.

Jason has been involved in football as both an athlete and a coach for many years and has a wealth of knowledge about the sport that will be a great asset to our team.

Jason went to Saint Francis Xavier University where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree with a major in sociology and a minor in psychology. Following his time there Jason went to the University of Maine at Fort Kent where he graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree. Prior to his new position with Football Nova Scotia, Jason was teaching at Churchill Academy and throughout the Halifax Regional School Board.

Jason is now making the transition to technical director, and with his many years of coaching experience it is a natural fit. Jason has coached both boys and girls provincial flag football teams, Dartmouth High School football, the Dartmouth Destroyers peewee and bantam teams along with many others. He has also worked on a number of program development projects with many local football organizations in order to help educate and train the young athletes in this province.

Jason has many great achievements in his own career having played in the Canadian Junior Football league, being invited to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats training camp and representing Nova Scotia and Canada while playing senior men’s flag football. His experience on and off the field will provide the guidance and knowledge it takes to grow our football program here in Nova Scotia.

Football Nova Scotia is committed to providing the very best training and opportunity for our athletes and coaches and we are very pleased to have Jason join our team.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
