Wagner gives #CFC100 ATH Burniston first NCAA Division 1 offer (VIDEO)

This past weekend was one that #CFC100 Cole Burniston will not forget anytime soon.

That is because the 6’3, 215 pound athlete from Niagara, Ontario announced on Saturday via social media that he received his first NCAA Division 1 offer.  It came courtesy of Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team, Wagner Seahawks:

Currently, Burniston is suiting up for Buffalo, New York high school team, Canisius Crusaders. During the 2015 season, the athlete was selected as an All-Catholic Selection and The Buffalo News Sports third team All-WNY.

Previous to the Crusaders, Burniston has also played for both the Blessed Trinity Thunder of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NRHSAA) and Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

In May, Burniston was included in the first edition of the #CFC100 CLASS 2017 RANKINGS.
