9-MAN BANTAM:

The always-competitive Bantam 9-man division featured the familiar foes of the Coquitlam Chargers and the Richmond Raiders as they battled it out for both the VMFL Championship title and BC Provincial title last Saturday. The Chargers kept the Raiders out of their end zone and went on to a 35-0 decisive win and in doing so take the title from the Raiders who owned it last year. Congratulations to the Chargers!

12-MAN BANTAM:

In 12-man Bantam the integrated division featured the South Delta Rams taking on their cousins the North Delta Longhorns. In a close game the Longhorns won 20-8 and NOW go on to play the Langley Mustangs, winners over the Chilliwack Giants. Both teams will take this weekend off before facing each other on December 1st at McLeod Athletic Park in Langley for the BC Provincial Championships.

The Midget division held their Provincial Quarter Finals this past weekend. On the Island, Cowichan defeated Victoria while, further north, the Nanaimo Redmen defeated Chilliwack. Here in the Lower Mainland, Langley defeated White Rock while North Surrey beat out North Delta.
