uOttawa prime location for Québec commit

The Gee-Gees add an out-of-province commit to their Class of 2017.

The University of Ottawa is nestled in downtown core, and Peace Tshilombo, a receiver from Vanier College, wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I liked the sports facilities and the location of the school,” Tshilombo said about why he committed to the Gee-Gees. “I believe that this is the best environment for me to succeed as a student athlete.”

The soon-to-be accounting student knows he is in good hands with the Gee-Gees coaching staff. “They have had some success over the years. I believe that the team will keep on improving with their help,” he said.

Standing at 6’0, 200lbs, Tshilombo played five years with his high school team, Les Aigles d’Or de l’École secondaire Dalbé Viau (RSEQ), in his home of Lachine, Montréal, Québec. He spent three years with the Vanier Cheetahs (RSEQ Division 1). In 2014, he was a member of Team Québec. From 2011 to 2013, he ran track and field with Québec. This past season, he won a student athlete award from the RSEQ.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
