U Sports Recruiting Analysis (OUA): Warriors looking to sustain new-found success

Overview

After finally ending their two-year winning hiatus with a 4-4 finish last season, the Waterloo Warriors are looking to keep momentum on their side with another strong class of CFC100 commits. It was all about offence in 2017 led by the Ford brothers, but it seems like the Warriors’ staff put an extra emphasis on finding elite defensive talent this year, and I think they did a great job of mining the list for high I.Q players. It’s a brand new world at Waterloo, and the class of 2018 will be a key building block if they want to sustain their new found success.
