U Sports Recruiting Analysis (AUS): Bishop’s digging for talent

Overview

Bishop’s first season in the AUS didn’t go according to plan, but I don’t think their 1-7 record is a good reflection of how close they came to breaking through on a few occassions. They’ve turned to a diverse class of talent that covers five different provinces and five prospects from France, which could end up setting them apart from their counterparts on the field. The highlight is their addition of two quality linemen from B.C and Ontario, plus they snagged a few defensive playmakers that should make an impact early on in their career at Bishop’s.
