Two Canadians sign with Div 2 University of Mary

Bismarck, ND – University of Mary head football coach Myron Schulz announced today the signings of 38 high school student-athletes who have committed to continue their education and play football at U-Mary.

“Every recruiting class is exciting as we get to bring new members into the University of Mary family,” said Schulz. “I enjoy the process of getting to know these student-athletes over the past year and we look forward to the day when they can step onto the field for the Marauders.”

Tyler Kist, Outside Linebacker, 6-1, 220. Winnipeg, MB (St. Paul’s HS)

A team captain, Tyler Kist was the winner of the John Potter D’Arcy Bain Physiotherapy Award for the most improved player during his high school career. An honor roll member, Tyler is the son of Gwen and Tim Kist and is undecided on an academic major.

Spencer Revenberg, Linebacker, 6-0, 225. Essex, ONTARIO (Essex District High School)

The team captain the past two seasons and the squad’s defensive most valuable player, Spencer Revenberg ran for 1,152 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 7.7 yards per carry. Defensively, he made 112 tackles, forced three fumbles, recovered one fumble and made one interception as his squad finished 7-2. He had over 300 yards rushing in one contest last season. The son of Cindy and Terry Revenberg, Spencer will major in business.
