Toronto athlete joins AUS team’s 2016 class

George Giancoulas will be heading to the Maritimes to start the CIS chapter of his gridiron career.

The 6’1, 210 pound athlete from Toronto, Ontario committed to Mount Allison Mounties.  Giancoulas will join the team for the 2016 AUS season.

Ultimately, there were several reasons why the athlete opted for the Mounties.

“The factors that helped me choose Mount Allison was knowing I would be playing for the top team in the AUS,” explained Giancoulas.  “Also I would be attending one of the top ranked undergraduate universities in Canada!”

“Scott Brady made my decision easy with keeping in touch with me, providing information about the football program and answering any questions I had.”

Among the teams Giancoulas has suited up for include the Northern Red Knights of the Toronto District Secondary School Athletic Association (TDSSAA) and the Toronto Jr. Argos of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
