Team Manitoba (U18) Blue-Gold game goes today – Who’s the next Idonije? (rosters)

The conclusion of Football Manitoba’s ‘Blue-Gold week’ goes today with the annual game between the Blue and Gold teams. The coaches will then pick the top 40 players from the game to represent Manitoba at this year’s Football Canada Cup in Lethbridge, Alberta. Former ‘Blue-Gold’ participants include Chicago Bears defensive end Israel Idonije, CFLers Chris Bauman, Markus Howell, Eddie Steele and Kyle Koch, along with former CFL players Matt Sheridan and Scott Coe are but a handful of players who have suited up since the event started in the 1980s. Here is a list of the rosters for today’s game.
