Sudbury Major Award Winners and All-Stars announced

Kuzenko named MVP, Lively & Lo-Ellen also grab major honours

Recently, the Sudbury District Secondary School Athletic Association (SDSSAA) announced their major award winners and all-stars for the 2013 football season.

St. Charles Cardinals linebacker Matt Kuzenko was selected as the league’s Most Valuable Player of the Year.  Meanwhile, Lively Hawks and Lo-Ellen Park Knights each grabbed two major honours.  Hawks quarterback Hunter Holub was selected as the recipient of the Sid Forster Memorial MOP Award while fellow teammate, linebacker Adam Ferris was named Ricker Defensive Player of the Year. Knights running back/fullback Matt Glass was named Battolucci Offensive Player of the Year while teammate Sam Sedore was chosen as Derks Lineman of the Year.
