Overall, the Golden Hawks provided the perfect opportunity for Taylor to excel on and off the field.

“Laurier is fairly close to home for me as I am from London, the school I believe is right for me as a person because of its strong community feel,” explained the fullback.  “I have been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to commit to Laurier after returning to high school for a victory lap this year.”

“The school and all the coaching staff were amazing when I was down and will provide an amazing chance for me to succeed and progress as a football player and a scholar.”

“The mentoring I have received from the coaching staff and fellow players are a huge part of the reason ive been able to become the player I am,” added Taylor of his time wiith the Rams.  “Coach Kublinksas, our Senior Head Coach, has been an enormous factor in my development and really does not get the praise he deserves for running such an amazing program.”

With his decision now made, the fullback is looking forward to the next gridiron chapter of his career.

“I am very excited to have been presented with the opportunity to play for WLU next year and am humbled by the chance to get a shot at moving to the next level of football thanks to Coach [Michael] Faulds, Coach [Dwayne] Cameron and the rest of Laurier’s football staff,” expressed Taylor.
