Whitney Pier fullback/running back joins RSEQ teams 2015 class

Jarrad Detheridge is set to make one of the biggest moves of his career.

This week, the 5’11, 220 pound fullback/running back from Sydney (Whitney Pier), Nova Scotia committed to the Concordia Stingers.  Dethridge will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

“I think Concordia is a really great school and it will help me with an education and football,” explained Detheridge of his decision.  “I know how great the football program is so I’m glad I’ll be getting the best coaching!”

Recently, Detheridge completed his career with Sydney Academy Wildcats of the Nova Scotia Student Athletic Federation Football League (NSSAFFL). This past fall, he was selected a NSSAFFL Division 2 All-Star.

Ultimately, he is excited about beginning a new gridiron and academic chapter in new surroundings.

“I’m hoping to be able to start and be the best football player I can be and train and get a degree from Concordia,” expressed the Nova Scotia standout.
