St Roch C.S.S. is currently in it’s 4th year of existence. Year One we fielded a team playing in 5 exhibition games to start and build the program.
Our Junior team in R.O.P.S.S.A.A. has gone undefeated in 3 years of regular season play for a combined regular season record of 17-0. The Junior team has made it to the last two junior Tier One finals coming up short to very good Lorne Park teams. We have built a strong tradition in our four years of football and have committed, respectful and hard working players that thrive to elevate St. Roch to an elite football program.
St. Roch football began it’s Senior team in 2011 with just grade 11’s in Tier 2 football and posted a 6-0 regular season record with gutsy victories over Father Gaetz and Fletcher’s Meadows. The 2011 team lost a heartbreaker 10-7 to Iona in the playoffs.
The 2012 season was our first season with a Tier One Senior Program and we finished with a 4-2 regular season record, with convincing wins over Aquinas 33-3, Mayfield 28-7, Ambroziac 42-0 and St. Michael’s 18-0 dropping games to powerhouses d’youville and Notre Dame.
The Players and Coaches are looking forward to an exciting 2013 season!
