St. Francis Xavier announces 1st 16 recruits including blue chip Omara

St. Francis Xavier X-Men announced their first 16 recruits today from the 2011 class. An impressive list including Blue Chip Ottawa area prospects Ron Omara (Sooners / Team Canada) and Ashton Dickson (Sooners). Head Coach Gary Waterman had this to say about the class:

“We are extremely happy with the way recruiting is going so far this offseason here at StFX. We came into this offseason with some specific needs and we feel we are on the right track towards filling them. We were very happy to hear from Ron Omara last night that he has chosen to come to StFX. Ron exemplifies everything we look for in a recruit here at StFX, as he is not only a phenomenal athlete, but also a person of high character who I know will represent our team well and work hard over his career here. We are very proud of this list and we look forward to adding to it in the near future.”
