Southeastern Louisiana offers #CFC100 Berglund (VIDEO)

After receiving a succession of three NCAA Division 1 preferred walk-on offers, #CFC100 Isaac Berglund has received a full-ride.

Last night, the 6’3, 235 pound defensive end from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia announced on Twitter that Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team, Southeastern Louisiana Lions were the latest team to give him an offer:

This comes on the heels of netting a trio of preferred walk-on offers last week from Football Bowl Subdivision teams Penn State Nittany Lions, Texas Tech Red Raiders and Temple Owls.

The defensive standout capped off his career with CEGEP Division 1’s Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars by helping the team win the Bol D’Or Championship this past November.

Previous to the Cougars, Berglund suited up for the Dartmouth High Spartans of the Nova Scotia Student Athletic Federation Football League (NSSAFFL). During his time with the Spartans, he was selected as a NSSAFFL Nova Division First-team All-Star at both the linebacker and defensive line positions. Additionally, he was named Spartans Defensive Player of the Year and MVP.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
