Saskatoon WR joining Saskatchewan Huskies

The Huskies add a local commit to their Class of 2017.

David Solie, a wide receiver from Holy Cross High School, will be staying in his hometown province after signing with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he played with the Holy Cross Crusaders (Saskatoon Secondary Schools Athletic Directorate) as a wide receiver and kicker. Standing at 5’9, 175lbs, he played in the 2016 Football Canada Cup with Team Saskatchewan U18. He was named to the all-star team that year. This past January, he was a member of Team Canada U19 at the North American Championship. He was player of the game in a loss versus Team USA.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
