Sabercats quarterback Michael Campbell completed 10 passes for 116 yards in the win while Sean Plumley led the way catching three passes for 64 yards. Alex Morrison caught a pair of touchdown pass, a 16-yard completion in the first quarter and a 10-yard completion late in the second quarter, both from Campbell.

Campbell added to his totals with 93 yards rushing on just 10 carries. Trevor Plumley ran for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 21 carries and James Castellani chipped in with 83 yard rushing on 12 carries. Jordan Vernelli ran for the other touchdown, early in the second quarter. The Sabercats also picked up a pair of points in the third quarter.

The Sabercats missed four converts in the win, three of which were two-point attempts.

Josh Deluco led the way defensively for the Sabercats with three solo tackles and four batted balls along with a fumble recovery.

Jason Ingram was in on both second-half touchdowns for the Bears. He hit Troy Learn with a 12-yard pass in the third quarter and ran in from 10-yards out midway through the fourth quarter.

With the win, the Sabercats improve to a perfect 3-0 and sit in first place in the OVFL’s Adam West division. The London Falcons entered Saturday at 2-0 as they prepared to face the winless Mississauga Warriors on Saturday evening in London. A London win would leave the Sabercats and Falcons as the only remaining undefeated teams in the division.
