The Sault Sabercats stood up to the challenge of the perennial power of the Essex Ravens.
On Saturday night at Rocky DiPietro Field, the Sabercats ran their Ontario Varsity Football League record to 5-0 with a 34-27 win over the Ravens.
Trevor Plumley led the Sabercats attack with 176 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Jordan Kimewon also ran back a fumble 50 yards for a major score.
