Regina Rams’ player charged with assault

According to 3downnation, a fight outside a campus bar on October 6, 2018, involving a group of men, has led to a Regina Rams football player, Takudzwa Timothy Brandon Gandire, being charged with assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply.

Gandire, a 21 year-old from Vancouver, will be in court Nov. 29.

The video below was posted to social media with the person who posted it saying the confrontation involved members of the Rams team.

The matter is before the courts and the university has provided no comment. This comes after the forfeiture of their first three wins for playing an ineligible player.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
