Hamilton Tiger-Cats add 3 Canadian coaches


Hamilton, Ontario ā€“ The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has added three Canadians to the teamā€™s coaching staff. Scott Fawcett has been named Special Teams Assistant, Dwayne Cameron has been named Defensive Assistant and Vince Luciani has been named Offensive Assistant.

Fawcett brings nearly three decades of coaching experience to the Black and Gold, including a stint as Special Teams Coordinator with the Ticats 1999 Grey Cup championship team. Fawcett also has pro experience as Special Teams Coordinator and Running Backs Coach with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2006 and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2005. His coaching pedigree also includes extensive experience at the CIS, U.S. college and Canadian junior levels.

Cameron spent last season with the Ticats as Defensive and Special Teams Assistant after
six seasons on the coaching staff at Wilfrid Laurier as the Golden Hawksā€™ Strength and Conditioning and Defensive Backs Coach.

Luciani joins the coaching ranks after a five-year CIS career as a receiver at Wilfrid Laurier.
