Reaching full potential (VIDEO)

Kieffer Fowler

Bolton tight end recently commits to AUS team’s 2014 class.

An Ontario standout believes there is one school that can help him reach all his gridiron goals.

Kieffer Fowler has opted to begin his CIS career out east.  The 6’4, 230 pound tight end from Bolton, Ontario recently committed to the St. Francis Xavier (St.FX) X-Men for the 2014 AUS season.

“I committed because I believe St.FX sees my potential and my skill set will fit into their offense well,” explained Fowler of his decision.  “I believe that St. FX will help me achieve my personal goals athletically and academically.”

“The coaches kept me updated with recruitment info and were able to hold my interest.  Also, the St.FX community has a great reputation and also has a high student satisfaction percentage.”

Fowler joins the X-Men after completing his high school career with St. Michael Thunder of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA).  Additionally, he suited up for the TNT Express.

As for the X-Men, they are excited to welcome the Ontario standout into the fold.

“Kieffer is a special talent at a position of need for us,” commented X-Men Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach Gord Gallimore.  “He is a special massively sized tough guy with a good skill set combination of hands, athleticism and awareness.”

“We believe he can help us right away at the tight end spot. We are extremely happy to have Kieffer a part of the X-Family.”
