Ravens land another #CFC100

St.Thomas defensive tackle joins OUA team’s 2015 class

The Carleton Ravens have landed their third #CFC100.

Yesterday, the team announced the addition of Jessy Kocins to their football program.

Kocins, the 6’3, 215 pound defensive tackle from St. Thomas, Ontario, will join the Ravens for the 2015 OUA season.

“We are so very excited to have Jessy Kocins accepted to Carleton University,” commented Ravens Head Coach Steve Sumarah.  “He is a big physical defensive tackle that will demand a double team when on the field.”

“He has a great career ahead of him as a student-athlete with the Ravens.  Adding another CFC 100 player is a testament to the hard work our coaches are doing recruiting.”

Recently, Kocins completed a stint with Central Elgin Titans of the Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association (TVRAA).  In addition to the Thunderbirds, Kocins also suited for the Forest City Thunderbirds of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

In 2015, Kocins was ranked on the #CFC 100.  With his commitment, the Ravens now have two #CFC100 ranked recruits.  Others include athlete (2014 CFC100) Jonathan Muamba and defensive lineman Frederik Robitaille.
