He moved on to play for Upper Canada College Blues of the Conference of Independent Schools Athletic Association (CISAA). In 2013, he guided the team to the CISAA Championship. During his time there, he was a captain and also named Blues Rookie of the Year.

“Philippe Archambault’s arrival at Queen’s this August will be a much celebrated event here in Kingston,” commented Gaels Head Coach Pat Sheahan.  “He is a game changer in the 2015 recruiting class with high Queen’s pedigree.”

“A 95 percent average student who excels at football is exactly what our recruiting mandate calls for. Great size, terrific football instincts and toughness and natural leadership skills make him a potential impact player this season. A graduate from prestigious College Jean Eudes in Montreal and a great finish at UCC in Toronto, Philippe was highly sought after by several schools in Quebec and Ontario. We have landed a good one here and I am excited about him.”

With his commitment, Archambault becomes the third #CFC100 to sign with the OUA team.  Fullback Marquis Richards and receiver Chris Osei-Kusi are the others.
