Quebec quarterback joins OUA team’s 2016 class

Clayton Sequeira will be returning back north of the border for the next stage of his gridirion career.

The 6’1, 185 pound pivot from Pierrefonds, Quebec has committed to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.  Sequiera will join the Blues for the 2016 OUA season.

“I’m excited to be a part of a great football program,” expressed Sequiera about his commitment.  “From the moment they offered me, I knew that’s where I wanted to go.”

“Toronto is a beautiful city and the education is second to none.”

Recently, Sequeira suited up for Concord, New Hampshire prep team, St. Paul’s Big Red.  In 2015, the pivot amassed 1500 rushing yards, 450 rushing yards, 17 total touchdowns and three interceptions in eight games.  Sequeira received an Independent School League All-League honourable mention for his play during the season.

Previous to the Big Red, the offensive standout played for Westmount, Quebec’s Selwyn House School.
