As a quarterback, Aidan Merchant is always focused when it comes to achieving success on the field.
“I like being a leader and leading the team, plus its super amazing to play quarterback,” explained Merchant. “I like the intensity and focus that you need to play quarterback.”
The 5’11, 180 pound pivot has played for several teams during his gridiron career including Twin Cities Warhawks, Twin Cities Predators of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and KCI Raiders.
Moreover, Merchant’s main quarterback idols are NFL greats Colin Kaepernick of the San Francisco 49ers and Payton Manning of the Denver Broncos.
Next weekend, he will participate in the QB Canada Clinic in Mississauga. Overall, he has one goal is wants to achieve at the event.
“I am looking forward to overall improvement,” said Merchant.
With his participation in QB Canada, Merchant hopes it will get him one step further in realizing his ultimate gridiron dream.
“I want to be a good quarterback and play in college/university,” offered Merchant.
