Preseason reunion for Nelson and St. Peter’s

The Nelson Lords will once again hook-up with the St. Peter Knights from Ottawa for a 2016 Pre-Season tilt. The difference this year will be the location as the teams will meet in Montreal, QC at Percival Molson Stadium. Molson stadium is the home of the Alouettes (CFL) and also the McGill Redmen and will provide an outstanding venue for the first game of 2016.

This will be the first game ever for Nelson in the Province of Quebec. The two teams have met twice before with the Knights winning in 2012 at Queen’s University and the Lords winning in 2014 at Carleton University.

Kickoff is set for 1:30pm on Friday September 9th in Montreal.

As part of the 2016 Pre-Season trip to Montreal the Lords will also hold an Integrated Practice with the Selwyn House Gryphons at Percival Molson Stadium on Thursday September 8th. While in Montreal, Lords players will have a chance to visit McGill, Concordia and University of Montreal.
