Perfect decision

Kitchener wide receiver recently joins OUA team’s 2014 class.

Lam Diing could not have scripted a better situation than the one he was presented with when it came to his future plans.

The 6’4, 190 pound wide receiver from Kitchener, Ontario decided to commit to the Waterloo Warriors for the 2014 OUA season.

“I chose Waterloo because I believe it to be one of the best schools when it comes to education,” explained Diing of his decision.  “It is close to my house, saving me money by staying home and they were losing receivers due to graduation so many spots are open for the receiving group.”

“I value education really high, and secondly, I have an opportunity to play early if I work really hard. So it was a perfect decision based on education and their football program.”

Diing comes to the Warriors after finishing his high school career with the Eastwood Rebels of the Waterloo County Secondary School Athletic Association (WCSSAA).  Additionally, the wide receiver also suited up for the Twin Cities Predators of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).
