Peewee Lions undefeated regular season


Cambridge peewee Lions finished their regular season undefeated at 8-0, with a 26-21 win over the Ajax/Pickering Dolphins.

The Lions went down a touchdown early, but Danyel Sipes got it back with two big runs and a touchdown. Sipes had four touchdowns on the day, as well as a big sack of the Ajax quarterback to end the game.
Quarterback Braden Hill had a strong throwing game, hitting Brandon Metz for a big play leading up to Sipes final touchdown. The pair also connected for a two point convert on that touchdown.
The Lions defence had another strong game, with big tackles by Alex Salytchev, Ethan Elka, Kaden Jespersen and Amber Baetsen.
Terrel Crawford started the second half with a sack, while Brayden Ralph had a big fourth quarter hit and Derek Cole had a fourth quarter sack.
The Lion’s begin their playoff’s next week at Debt Freedom Field behind Jacob Hespeler School.
