The CFL Draft in May is quickly approaching, and this is the second year CFC100 ranked prospects are eligible to be selected by professional teams across the country. In the Final Edition of the CFL Scouting Bureau’s Top 20 Rankings, 15 of the players were members of the CFC100 heading into university. We’ll be preparing for the big day by breaking down their journey’s to the next level from high school to the national stage. The CFC Prospect Game roster reveal will also take place live on May 2nd during the CFL Draft broadcast by TSN at 8pm (ET).

Today we take a look at CFC100 OL Drew Desjarlais out of Windsor, who’s turned into on of the hottest prospects on the board after a killer offseason.

“Standing at 6’5”, 325lbs, Drew Desjarlais vaulted himself up the draft board after a very strong showing at the CFL Combine. He did enough to force the CFL Scouting Bureau to change his status from “unranked” to the seventh best prospect heading into Thursday night’s draft, and after watching his film, you have to wonder why they didn’t have him ranked higher in the first place.”
