Napanee defensive tackle signs with OUA team.

Matt Amey was hooked on the Nation’s Capital.

Consequently, the 6’4, 310 pound defensive tackle from Napanee, Ontario recently committed to the Ottawa Gee-Gees for the 2014 OUA season.

“I committed to Ottawa because I really liked the environment and the atmosphere on campus,” expressed Amey.  “All the people I met were really genuine and welcoming.”

“I also liked the direction that their taking the football team.”

Among the teams the defensive tackle has played for include the Napanee Golden Hawks of the Kingston Area Secondary School Athletic Association (KASSAA) and the Kingston Grenadiers of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
