CEGEP quarterback joins CWUAA team’s 2016 class.

Once Adam Sinagra finishes his CEGEP career this fall, he will begin preparing for the next phase of his gridiron career out in the Prairies.

Over the weekend, the 6ā€™1, 185 pound quarterback from Chateauguay, Quebec committed to the Calgary Dinos.Ā  Sinagra will join the team for the 2016 CWUAA season.

Ultimately, the pivot chose the Dinos because it provided the best situation for his gridiron career, academic pursuits and social life.

ā€œI’d say the main reason for my decision boiled down to the opportunities Calgary had to offer, academically and on the football field,ā€ elaborated Sinagra.Ā  ā€œThe support and structure surrounding the players showed me the reasons why they’ve been so successful.ā€

ā€œSocially, I felt right at home, and that was important to me, seeing as I’m moving quite far away from home. Also, the strength of the alumni is always an important factor to look at.Ā  They demonstrated how significant the alumni have been to them and the opportunities that arise by being a Dino.ā€

Sinagra is currently in his final CEGEP season with Division 2 team, John Abbott College Islanders.Ā  Previous to the Islanders, the Quebec standout has suited up for both the Chateauguay Raiders and St. Laurent Spartans.
