Week five, and the final week in District 10 football only featured a pair of games with Lourdes taking on Orangeville and Centennial playing GCVI.
Lourdes Crusaders hosted the Orangeville Bears. The Crusaders dominated the game winning 30-0 withĀ Noel Amaya and Nick Parisotto both accounting for a pair of touchdowns.
The second game had the Centennial Spartans taking on the GCVI Gaels at the University of Guelph’s Alumni stadium. The undefeated Gaels continued their winning ways taking the game 42-24 under the lights. Gaels quarterback Job Reinhart had a pair of touchdowns in the affair. On a positive note, the Spartans the 24 points scored more than triples their total offensive output this year.
With the regular season wrapped up St James will host Orangeville on Thursday at 3:00PM, while Centennial and GCVI will meet again at Alumni field at 8:00PM. On Friday, Lourdes will host Bishop Macdonell at 2:30PM. The first place Ross Royals will enjoy a week off as they automatically qualify for the semi-finals.
