Ontario Prospect Challenge TOP 100 Profile: Grant looks to build on undefeated season

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Colin Grant.Ā ColinĀ Ā is one of 600 players who will be participating in the TOP 100 CAMPS in April.

Position: Quarterback

Height/Weight: 5’11″/160 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team(s): Huron Heights

The Ontario Prospect Challenge tryout phase is over. Ā Now many are anticipating the TOP 100 camps that will happen this spring.Ā Quarterback, Colin GrantĀ came out to test his skills against some of Ontario’s best players.

Junior varsity quarterback, Colin Grant, has been playing football since the tender age of six and has never looked back.

“I chose the OPC Prospect Challenge for the quality of coaching and the chance to see how my abilities stack up against some of the best players in the GTA”, says Grant. “My goal in football is to keep playing beyond high school. Whether it is playing in the NCAA, CIS or beyond, I don’t know. I love this game and I want to keep playing as long as I can.”

Huron Heights has been a dominant force in Ontario football for a few years now, and Grant has seen many gridiron successes. This past season, Grant was able to lead the JV team to an undefeated season, and has played in many championship games. He lead the YRAA Junior Football Division this year with 20 TDs (passing and rushing combined).

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge completed in 2013.Ā  April TOP 100 Camps & May Game has been scheduled.
