Ontario Prospect Challenge TOP 100 Profile: Bell hopes to continue successful career

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Mack Bell.Ā MackĀ Ā is one of 600 players who will be participating in the TOP 100 CAMPS in April.

Position: Defensive End

Height/Weight: 6’3″/230 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 12

Current Team(s): Huronia Stallions, Blue Park Torjans

The Ontario Prospect Challenge tryout phase is over, and now many are anticipating the TOP 100 camps that will happen this spring. Defensive end, Mack Bell, came out to test his skills against some of Ontario’s best players.

“I chose to participate in theĀ OPC to challenge myself and expose myself to a higher level of play because I come from a small football school and mostly because I love the game of football,” says Bell. “My goals for football are to make team Ontario, and to make a difference for my team. I want to be a 1st string player at university andĀ I would like the opprotunity to play professionally. I want to be the best player I can be and the best player to ever play football.”

Since starting his football career 10 years ago, Bell has seen lots of success both on and off the field. The grade 12 students has an honour roll standing at his high school and has won several football awards including All-Pro Top defensive lineman in 2011, and being a part of GBSSA championship teams in the past three years.

Along with football, Bell also is a wrestler who has come in fifth place at the Canadian National Wrestling Championships.

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge completed in 2013.Ā  April TOP 100 Camps & May Game has been scheduled.
