Two years ago Roberto Jimenez-Bojorquez started playing the sport and fell in love with it the first time he touched the field.

The wide receiver currently plays for his high school team, the St. Peter Knights of the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA), as well as for the Orleans Dukes.

During the offseason, he attended the Gridiron Academy, which helped him improve substantially. He is also always working out with friends when he does not have practice.

Roberto is looking forward to the upcoming Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC)

“My goals are to get noticed, perform during the game, make some friends and overall become a better player,” said Roberto.

His idol on the field is Cam Newton, despite playing a different position.

“I admire his attitude when playing the game,” explained the Knights standout, “He’s always having fun and performs.”

Overall, he loves playing the sport for a couple of specific reasons.

“I love playing football because everyone says I’m aggressive and it gives me a chance to take it out while having fun with guys,” added Roberto.
