Ontario Prospect Challenge profile: Strumos has NCAA dreams

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Michael Strumos.

Position: Running back

Height/Weight: 6’1″/165 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team(s): Huron Heights

The Ontario Prospect Challenge is a great opportunity for players of all ages to compete to be named to CFC’s Top 100 list. This combine has drawn out some of Ontario’s best players and many more are ready to take on the challenge. Huron Height’s JV running back Michael Strumos is ready to take the gridiron by force.

Since starting his football career two years ago, Strumos has won athlete of the year at his respective middle school and has won several other athletic awards with track and field.

When asked why he chose to participate in the OPC, Strumos said, “I want to have the chance to try and make the team and be noticed by universities”.

Strumos continues to say that he hopes to someday by football in the NCAA.
