Nick Mardner started playing football when he was nine with the Halton Invicats.

Soon after the wide out made the switch to the Oakville Titans in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC), where he played for about six years.

He is also planning on playing for the Burlington Stampeders this upcoming season.

Moreover, Nick has been to many camps and participated in Sport Specific Training workout programs.

The Titan also did the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) last year, and is playing again this year in hopes of improving with the better competition.

His goals for this year’s OPC are to get MVP, get over 100 yards in the game and win.

The 2017 graduate hopes also hopes to find himself on the #CFC100, but his main goal is to get to the US and play football.

“In the offseason I play basketball for my school team and work out,” said Nick. “When the weather gets nicer I get out on the field and run routes and work on my feet.”

On the field, his role model is Dex Bryant because he tries to play the game the way Bryant does since he is an overall great player.

“I love football because of the family mentality it brings and the high competitiveness,” added Nick.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
