This will be Boston Barry’s fourth season playing football for the Cambridge Lions.

He had played two years of atom and a year in tyke.

Moreover, in November the Lions put together a team of players under the age of nine and brought them to the Midwest National Youth Tournament in Ohio.

β€œTo be able to play with kids in the USA was a great experience,” said Boston.

This will be his first year of peewee and Boston will be trying out for the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

During the offseason, the Lion attends camps and his parents are always looking for different camps that he can attend.

β€œMy goal for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) is to make the team and play as hard as I can,” explained Boston. β€œI would like to be a wide receiver or a running back but will play wherever they need me to play.”

On the field, his idol is Calvin Johnson because he is the best wide receiver and he inspires Boston to work hard. One day Boston would like to be as good or better than Johnson.

β€œI love playing football because it is my favourite sport and I’m really good at it,” commented the Lion.

β€œI am looking forward to learning from other coaches at camps and OPC throughout my years of playing football to get better, stronger and show my talent on the field and work hard to achieve my goals,” added Boston.
