Ontario Prospect Challenge Profile: Liegghio looks to play with the best

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Marc Liegghio.

Position: Kicker

Height/Weight: 5’7″/180 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 11

Current Team(s): Newmarket Bucs

The Ontario Prospect Challenge is going on week four and so far some great effort and talent has been seen on the gridiron. Some of Canada’s best coaches have been very impressed with the players they have seen so far, but there is plenty of time left to sign up and try out to make CFC’s Top 100 list.

Marc Liegghio may have only been playing football for one year, but already he has been named to the OVFL All-Star Team.

“I want to continue to develop and work with top coaches and I want to play with top caliber playes and this is the best way to do that,” Says Liegghio. “I want to play football at the highest level. I am hoping to get a scholarship and continue with football while I pursue post secondary education. I would like to represent Ontario, Canada and ulitmately make it to the big league.”

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge began September 21st.  A ‘one-time’ tryout fee allows you to compete in as many tryouts as you wish.   CLICK HERE for registration information.
