Justin Shibley has been playing for four years as a quarterback, starting in tyke and working his way to mosquito.

The quarterback plays for the National Capital Amateur Football Association’s (NCAFA) Myers Riders.

During the offseason, Justin plays baseball, hockey and soccer. He has also started working out in the gym to improve in his speed and arm strength. Furthermore, he attended Ravens camps and work one-on-one with Wayne Jacobs as a quarterback coach.

For the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), the Rider is looking forward to competing with the best players in the area.

“The coaching is fantastic, practices [are] intense and the final game is at TD Place is really exciting,” said Justin.

The quarterback loves playing the sport for the hitting, passing for touchdowns and his teammates.

He also loves the fact that he made a lot of friends and watching the RedBlacks and the NFL on TV.

“It’s my favourite sport,” added Justin.
