The very best of the Ontario Conference in 2018
The Ontario Conference announced their Most Outstanding Players and Coach of the Year for the 2018 season as a build up to the Ontario championship game on Sunday afternoon when the #1 Hamilton Hurricanes host the #2 Windsor AKO Fratmen.

Ontario Conference Outstanding Players:
Coach of the Year – Jason Hayes – Hamilton Hurricanes (8-0). He led the Hurricanes to a perfect 8-0 record and home field advantage throughout the Ontario playoffs.
Outstanding Offensive Lineman – Kyle Maertens – Hamilton Hurricanes
Outstanding Defensive Lineman – Tom Zarafonaitis – Hamilton Hurricanes – 6 sacks, 6 solo tackles, 6 assisted tackles, 1 forced fumble
Outstanding Special Teams – Dante Fornasiero – Windsor AKO Fratmen
Return Specialist – Dante Lewis – Windsor AKO Fratmen – 16 punt returns for 324 yards and a 100 yard return for a touchdown
Offensive Rookie of the Year – Keyshaun Jordan – Hamilton Hurricanes – 33 receptions* for 753 yards* and 15 touchdowns*
Defensive Rookie of the Year – Jordan Krug – Windsor AKO Fratmen – 8 tackles, 5 assisted tackels, 1 sack, 1 interception
Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year – Linebacker Zachary Hoffner – 28 tackles, 10 assisted tackles, 4.5 sacks, 1 interception
Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year – Quarterback Jake Marquette – Hamilton Hurricanes – 97 completions* for 1760 yards* and 28 touchdowns.* A completion percentage of 67%* and a passer efficiency rating of 169%*.
Sunday afternoon the Hurricanes will host the Fratmen in the Ontario Conference championship game with the winner travelling to the BC Conference champions for the National Semi-Final on November 3rd.
