OFC JV Week 2 Predictions

OFC JUNIOR VARSITY WEEK 2 PREDICTIONS
Last weeks record 5 – 0

GAME OF THE WEEK:

Burlington Stampeders @ Hamilton Panthers

While Burlington “stamped” out Forest City, Hamilton lost a back and forth affair to Toronto. This should be a better test for Burlington and another tough game for Hamilton who starts the season with 2 tough squads! Look for Hamilton to keep it close to start as Burlington gets used to higher competition before pulling away.

Stampeders 35 – Panthers 14

Huronia Stallions @ Sudbury Gladiators
While Huronia’s game against Oakville was postponed, Sudbury put Clarington away with ease. This should be a good game, I think that the long ride to Sudbury, combined with it being Huronia’s first official game, makes for a sloppy affair.

Gladiators 28 – Stallions 21

Sarnia Sturgeon @ Twin Cities Predators
This one has some great storylines. Sarnia put a beating on the Predators “B” squad while the Preds put a beating on Chatham. Both teams are going to be fired up for this one! I see this one being a hard hitting affair. Look for key turnovers being made by the Preds to seal this one up.

Predators 33 – Sarnia 21

Clarington Knights @ Oakville Titans
While Clarington struggled in their first game in the OFC, Oakville got their game postponed. I don’t see the road getting any easier for Clarington, look for Oakville to score early and often.

Titans 42 – Knights 17

Forest City Thunderbirds @ Chatham Cougars
This game is very important for both teams, Chatham got beat up by Twin Cities, while Forest City got “stamped”. It’s early but it’s a must win if either team has playoff aspirations! I see this one coming down to the wire!

Cougars 21 – Forest City 20

Toronto Jr Argonauts @ Twin Cities Predators “B”
The Argos nearly avoided a week 1 loss to Hamilton, while the Preds “B” got a rude welcome to the JV level by Sarnia. This one will be another learning experience for the young guys on the Preds. Look for Toronto to run away with this one.

Argos 45 – Preds 7

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
